Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Alex Hale ("we," "us," or "Roundhouse") governing your use of the Roundhouse iOS application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Roundhouse is a combat-sports interval timer for iOS. Some features — including timer presets, cloud sync across devices, and announcer voice packs — require an account and, for certain features, an active subscription as described below.

Accounts

Roundhouse uses "Sign in with Apple" to create and secure your account — we don't have or manage separate passwords. You're responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Subscriptions & Billing

• Certain features of Roundhouse are offered through auto-renewing subscriptions, purchased through your Apple App Store account.
• Pricing, duration (e.g. monthly or yearly), and any introductory or trial terms are displayed in the App and on the App Store page prior to purchase, and may vary by region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase, and subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or via the "Manage Subscription" link in the App's Settings screen. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
• All payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's own policies — Roundhouse has no ability to issue refunds directly. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App except as permitted by law; use the App for any unlawful purpose; interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure; or attempt to bypass or circumvent subscription or payment mechanisms.

Your Content

The custom presets and training data you create in the App remain yours. We store them only to provide the App's cloud-sync feature, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we don't use them for any other purpose.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, audio, and branding, is owned by Alex Hale and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to the App's trademarks, logos, or branding, and you may not copy, modify, or redistribute the App outside of normal use permitted by the App Store's terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Roundhouse is a training timer, not medical or fitness advice. The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular training program. Consult a qualified professional before beginning any new exercise or combat-sports training regimen, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alex Hale shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time as described above.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, the updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Alex Hale resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
