The Short Version
Roundhouse asks you to sign in with your Apple ID so your presets and session history can sync across your devices and survive a reinstall. We collect the minimum needed to make that work, we never sell your data, and you can permanently delete your account and everything tied to it at any time from Settings.
What We Collect
Roundhouse collects the following, and nothing else:
- Account identity — When you sign in with "Sign in with Apple," Apple shares a unique account identifier and, depending on your choice, your name and email (or Apple's private relay email if you choose to hide it). We use this only to identify your account.
- Your presets and session data — The custom timers and training presets you create in the app are stored in our database so they sync across your devices and survive a reinstall.
- Subscription status — Whether you have an active subscription, and basic purchase events needed to unlock paid features, handled through Apple's StoreKit and our subscription provider, Superwall.
We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, or any data from your device's sensors beyond the haptic feedback described below, and we do not use cookies or tracking pixels.
How We Use It
We use the information above only to: sign you in and keep you signed in; sync your presets and session history across your devices; verify and manage your subscription so paid features unlock correctly; and provide customer support if you contact us. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Third-Party Services
Roundhouse relies on a small number of service providers to operate. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

The announcer voice packs that ship with the app are pre-recorded audio bundled with the app itself — nothing you say or do is sent to a voice provider while you train.
Permissions
The app may request the following system permission:
- Motion & Haptics — Used to deliver haptic feedback at round transitions. No motion data is read or stored.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your account and synced data are kept for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your presets and your account from our systems — it cannot be undone, and it is not the same as just signing out.
Children's Privacy
Roundhouse is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a material way, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
